Enterprise AI context systems face a trust problem, not just a retrieval problem

Enterprise AI teams are building systems to feed business context into agents faster than they can fully trust that context. The survey covers 101 enterprises using retrieval and related infrastructure.

The issue is not simply whether a system can retrieve documents. Teams also need to know whether the context is accurate, current, authorized, and suitable for the task an agent is trying to complete.

That makes context governance a core part of enterprise AI architecture. Better retrieval will not solve production risk if the underlying knowledge pipeline is not trusted.
