Encore AI has raised $30 million for software that studies customer conversations and turns them into instructions for AI sales agents.

TechCrunch reports that the startup analyzes calls, messages, and CRM records to identify which sales techniques work. The goal is to convert those patterns into playbooks that agents can follow, rather than relying only on generic scripts or manually written prompts.

The idea reflects a broader shift in enterprise AI: companies want agents that learn from their own operations, not just from public training data. Sales teams already record large amounts of interaction data, but much of it sits unused outside coaching reviews and dashboards.

Encore still has to prove that learned playbooks improve outcomes without creating brittle or intrusive automation. But the funding shows continued investor demand for domain-specific agents that connect directly to business workflows and measurable revenue processes.
