Anthropic’s Mythos 5 has returned after a two-week negotiation process with the Trump administration, but only for a limited set of organizations.
The partial return is important because it shows how frontier model access is becoming entangled with government review and national policy. Customers may now have to think about political access risk alongside model capability and safety claims.
Anthropic’s public-facing Fable 5 reportedly remains offline, making the restart less a normal product relaunch than a controlled access arrangement.
