AWS has made the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore harness generally available, pitching it as a faster route from agent idea to production deployment.
The service provides isolated agent execution, filesystem and shell access, memory across sessions, tool calling through gateway or MCP, provider switching, streaming, and tracing into CloudWatch.
For enterprise teams, the value is less about creating another demo agent and more about wrapping agents in the operational controls that production systems require: isolation, observability, and repeatable deployment.
