Sakana AI has commercialized its agent research in a product called Marlin, according to MarkTechPost via Planet AI. The enterprise agent can reportedly run autonomously for up to eight hours and produce long research reports with accompanying slides.
The product builds on Sakana’s AB-MCTS and AI Scientist workflows, aiming to turn extended autonomous research into something businesses can buy rather than just read about in papers.
The launch is another sign that agent products are moving toward longer-running work, where planning, evaluation, and intermediate artifacts matter as much as a final answer.
