Shopify merchants using Reactiv can now schedule an AI system to rebuild parts of their mobile storefronts automatically. A request such as “refresh my homepage with best sellers every Monday” triggers agents that analyze store data, create a new configuration and publish it on schedule.

Reactiv built the service with three specialized agents: a supervisor classifies the request, an analytics agent queries merchant data and a builder produces the app configuration. The company runs them on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and uses persistent memory to carry preferences and previous approvals across sessions.

The redesign also replaced a more fragmented tool setup. Reactiv previously maintained about 100 OpenAPI specification files in two locations and handled custom authentication for its Model Context Protocol server. The managed system packages its agent graph in a container, isolates merchant workloads and starts computing only when scheduled work begins.

Reactiv says configuration time fell by 80 percent and its team reached production 33 percent faster. Those figures come from the company and AWS, not an independent evaluation. The larger test will be whether autonomous updates reliably respect brand rules and merchant intent when product catalogs and promotions change.
