Qlik has detailed how its Answers service combines structured analytics and unstructured documents to give employees responses with sources they can inspect. The product runs on Amazon Bedrock and uses specialized agents to handle different parts of a question rather than sending every request through one general workflow.

Qlik says Answers has been generally available since February 2026 for a customer base of more than 40,000 organizations. Its Discovery Agent, which looks for anomalies and outliers, has surfaced more than 100,000 findings since launch. The company also says most Qlik Cloud accounts that enabled agent tools are actively using them. Those adoption and output figures come from Qlik and AWS.

The architecture is designed to route simple lookups quickly while allowing harder questions to draw from analytics, documents and business definitions. Bedrock cross-region inference and guardrails support scale and policy controls. Grounding does not guarantee that every conclusion is correct; users still need to inspect cited data, especially in regulated work. The useful change is that Qlik is joining retrieval, analytics and source attribution in one interface instead of asking workers to search those systems separately.
