A British space startup has launched a longevity lab into orbit, WIRED reports. The lab will send data back to train AI models that predict how proteins behind diseases such as Alzheimer’s and some cancers behave.
The project combines space-based biological experimentation with AI modeling, using orbital conditions to generate data that may be hard to capture on Earth.
It is an example of AI expanding into scientific workflows where better datasets may matter as much as larger models.
