OpenAI is making its models and Codex available through Oracle Cloud commitments, giving enterprise customers a way to buy access through existing cloud agreements.
The announcement is less about a new model and more about distribution. For large companies, procurement, security review, and governance often decide whether AI tooling can actually be adopted at scale.
It also continues the pattern of frontier AI vendors embedding deeper into cloud marketplaces as enterprise AI spending becomes tied to broader infrastructure contracts.
