Nvidia is looking to raise at least $20 billion through a bond sale, according to The Decoder’s summary of Bloomberg reporting. It would be the company’s first bond sale since 2021.

The move fits a wider pattern in AI infrastructure: chipmakers, cloud providers, and model companies are turning to large financing deals to keep up with compute demand. Even highly profitable AI suppliers need capital for the scale of the current buildout.

For the market, the deal is another signal that the AI boom is increasingly measured not just in model releases, but in power, data centers, chips, and balance-sheet capacity.
