Meta has launched its Meta One subscription bundles globally, pairing paid features for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp with increased access to AI media generation. The company says the core experience in its apps and Meta AI will remain free, and customers can still buy each app’s subscription separately.
Two plans target individuals. Core costs $7.99 per month and Premium costs $19.99, both combining Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus and Facebook Plus. The packages include more image generation with Meta’s Muse assistant and more use of in-app tools such as Instagram Restyle. The Verge notes that buying all three standalone subscriptions would cost about $11 per month.
Creator and business packages range from $14.99 to $499 per month. Depending on the tier, benefits include a verified badge, a more prominent follow button, higher placement in search results and monitoring for impersonation accounts, in addition to the app subscriptions.
Meta plans to add products such as its Edits app and AI glasses to the bundles over time. The launch puts a direct monthly price on higher AI usage without moving the company’s basic assistant behind a paywall. The precise value will depend on which app perks a customer already uses and how much additional generation each tier permits.
