The Model Context Protocol team has moved its Enterprise-Managed Authorisation extension to stable status. The extension lets organizations control access to MCP servers through an identity provider.
The goal is to replace repeated per-server consent prompts with a zero-touch flow where users sign in once and then reach approved servers without extra setup.
That is an important step for enterprise AI agents, where tool access needs to be governed centrally rather than delegated to scattered local prompts.
