AWS published a post on KTern.AI's move from a traditional SaaS platform toward an agentic AI platform for SAP programs. The architecture uses Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and the Strands Agents SDK to coordinate specialized agents.
The deployment focuses on long-running enterprise work where agents need persistent context, secure access to tools, and production reliability. Those requirements are increasingly central as companies try to automate more than isolated support tasks.
For SAP-heavy organizations, the case points to how agentic systems may be layered on top of existing enterprise programs rather than replacing them wholesale.
