Indian AI coding startup Emergent has become a unicorn after raising a $130 million Series C, according to TechCrunch. The company says it has more than 200,000 paying customers and has reached a $120 million annualized revenue run rate just over a year after launch.
The growth underscores how quickly AI coding tools are turning into large businesses outside Silicon Valley. It also shows strong demand for developer automation in markets where software teams want productivity gains without waiting for mature enterprise rollouts.
