Grokipedia, SpaceXAI’s AI-generated encyclopedia, has begun showing article updates again after a months-long pause. Its public activity page lists recent changes, although many entries are generic instructions to recheck references and sources rather than visible factual revisions.
The Verge found the Barack Obama page marked as fact-checked by Grok two days earlier and watched the Elon Musk page receive a check during reporting. Other coverage remains stale: a Honolulu entry linked from the Obama page had not been checked for seven months.
User suggestions are also moving through the system. A request to add the October 6 release date for Gears of War: E-Day was accepted and appeared on the page. A separate request for a new article about Meta’s Muse assistant remained under review.
The renewed activity is recent and uneven, so it does not establish that the encyclopedia has resumed systematic maintenance across its catalog. SpaceXAI did not respond to a request for comment. Benji Taylor, who leads design at X and SpaceXAI, said last week that the company had not forgotten Grokipedia and that version 0.2 would improve, even though a version carrying that number had already launched in November.
