Google is adding more AI assistance to its advertising and analytics products, with new advisor-style tools meant to help marketers plan campaigns, interpret results, and decide what to change next. The update focuses on Google Ads and Google Analytics, two products that many businesses already use to manage digital marketing budgets.

The central idea is to put more recommendations and explanations directly inside the workflow instead of requiring users to switch between dashboards, reports, and separate planning tools. For non-specialists, that could make campaign management less dependent on knowing every setting in Google’s ad system.

The limits are important. These tools are still operating inside Google’s own advertising ecosystem, so businesses need to review recommendations against their budgets, conversion data, and broader strategy. AI guidance may speed up routine decisions, but it does not remove the need to check whether a campaign is actually reaching the right customers at an acceptable cost.
