Fambot has launched a beta assistant that turns family emails, calendars and WhatsApp groups into a daily checklist and a preview of upcoming events. The startup is targeting the administrative load around school notices, children's activities, appointments and household schedules rather than workplace tasks.
Families connect the communication sources they want the service to monitor, then use Fambot through text messages, the web or mobile apps. The company plans integrations with more school, sports and club services so information from separate systems can feed one household view. It uses multiple AI models and says those model providers cannot train on customer data.
More than 1,000 families tested the product before launch, according to the company. Fambot is free during beta on iOS, Android and the web; its eventual price is expected to be around a Netflix subscription, though that is not final. The startup has raised $3.5 million in pre-seed financing. Connecting private messages and children's schedules creates a particularly sensitive data set, so its privacy controls and ability to avoid missed or mistaken tasks will be as important as the convenience of combining them.
