ElevenLabs has opened an office in Singapore to serve as its Southeast Asia hub, expanding its local team for research, engineering, sales and customer support. The move follows the company’s July launch of Singapore data residency for enterprise voice-AI workloads.

The local hosting option is designed to lower latency and keep eligible customer data in Singapore. ElevenLabs also offers zero-retention configurations and says the service meets SOC 2 requirements. Those controls matter in sectors such as banking and healthcare, where voice systems may handle sensitive conversations.

The company named several existing regional users. Funding Societies uses conversational AI to qualify sales leads across five markets before handing them to human agents. Singapore-based Atome uses the technology in customer-engagement workflows, while healthcare platform Rezonate is building conversational services used in Singapore’s public-hospital system.

Southeast Asia presents a difficult language challenge because products must handle many languages, dialects and local speaking styles. Opening a hub does not itself prove model quality across that range, but it gives ElevenLabs a local base for working with customers and adapting its systems to regional requirements.
