SoundCloud and ElevenLabs have introduced an integration that lets creators publish music generated with ElevenLabs directly to SoundCloud. The connection removes the separate steps of exporting and downloading an ElevenLabs output before uploading the file to the streaming platform.
Tracks published through the integration will be labeled to make their AI origin clear. SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers will also receive three months of ElevenMusic Pro at no charge, giving them access to the generative music service as part of the partnership.
The ElevenLabs connection is less extensive than SoundCloud’s earlier integration with Moises. That arrangement allows users to import SoundCloud tracks into Moises for stem separation and remixing, then publish the results back to SoundCloud. The new ElevenLabs feature focuses on moving generated songs directly onto the platform.
SoundCloud has taken a relatively open approach to generative music services by partnering with multiple AI platforms. For users covered by European Union rules, it encourages labeling tracks as AI-generated or manipulated, and it maintains rules against impersonation. The direct-publishing label adds another disclosure mechanism for music created through ElevenLabs, while simplifying the release process for creators who use both services.
