Cursor has introduced Cursor Start, a new monthly plan for developers in India priced at ₹649 including tax. The plan is meant to make daily use of agentic coding tools easier to afford and simpler to pay for with local billing and UPI support.

The plan includes access to Cursor models such as Grok 4.5 and Composer, along with always-on cloud agents that can build, test, and ship code while a developer continues working. It also includes Cursor for iOS remote control, plugins, MCP servers, hooks, and skills for extending development workflows.

Existing free users in India can upgrade from the dashboard, while new users can choose Start during signup. Cursor says the plan is available from July 28, 2026, renews monthly, and can be paid in rupees by UPI or card.

The practical change is not a new model but a regional packaging decision: Cursor is trying to make agentic coding a normal daily tool for Indian developers rather than a premium add-on paid in foreign currency.
