Claude Code adds a browser for reading and interacting with websites

Claude Code has added a built-in browser that lets the AI interact with web pages inside the development environment, The Decoder reported. The tool can read pages and perform actions such as clicking and typing.

The feature moves coding agents closer to end-to-end workflows where they can inspect documentation, test web apps, and gather context without leaving the development loop. Screening write actions is important because browser access can quickly create real-world side effects.
