AWS Professional Services has described a multi-agent framework built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for automating parts of enterprise cloud migration. The system uses purpose-built agents for discovery, infrastructure-as-code generation, portfolio governance, and post-migration operations.

Cloud migrations are often slow because they combine technical inventory, policy checks, application dependencies, and repetitive implementation work. Splitting those jobs across specialized agents could reduce manual effort and make the process more consistent.

The post presents an AWS implementation rather than an independent benchmark. Enterprises would still need human review, testing, and rollback plans. The broader signal is that agentic AI is being packaged for complex IT workflows, not only support chats or coding assistants.
