AWS builds a Bedrock AgentCore support companion with MCP connections

AWS published a walkthrough for building an AI-powered support companion with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The agent uses Strands Agents for orchestration and connects to AWS services through the Model Context Protocol.

The companion can analyze CloudWatch logs, search AWS documentation, query AWS re:Post, and create support cases from one conversational interface.

The example is another sign that MCP is moving from developer experiments into cloud-provider reference architectures for enterprise agents.
