AWS builds a Bedrock AgentCore assistant for field equipment repair

AWS has published a reference build for an AI-powered equipment repair assistant using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The assistant is designed for farmers and field technicians who need help diagnosing problems, identifying parts, and finding manufacturer-approved repair procedures.

The stack uses AgentCore Runtime, the Strands Agents SDK, Amazon Nova 2 Lite, a Bedrock knowledge base for RAG, and AgentCore Memory for conversation persistence.

It is a useful enterprise example because the agent is tied to a specific workflow with clear source material and actions, rather than being a generic assistant dropped into a complex domain.
