Amazon Bedrock has added xAI’s Grok 4.7 to its managed model catalog. Developers can access it through the Responses, Chat Completions and Converse APIs, using cross-region inference profiles on the Bedrock runtime endpoint.
The model provides a 500,000-token context window and four reasoning levels: low, medium, high and xhigh. Teams can trade response time and compute cost against deeper processing for coding, long-running agents and knowledge tasks. xAI says the model was trained on harder, longer problems and is better at checking its work before continuing. Those descriptions come from the model maker rather than independent evaluation.
Bedrock availability removes the need for AWS customers to operate a separate xAI integration. Teams still need to confirm regional availability, pricing and data-governance requirements. A long context can hold more material, but it does not guarantee accurate use of every document or prevent errors from accumulating in an agent workflow.
